Living in Tokyo for my girlfriend and I mean that we get to entertain business clients every so often because of our work. The good news is that Tokyo offers many hotels designed for business travelers who need certain accommodations, a good location so travel within the city is easy, and excellent comfort so that they can rest properly.
Based on our experience, my girlfriend and I have made a list of five top business hotels in Tokyo that provide what a business traveler needs.
Best Business Hotels in Tokyo…for Meetings or Conferences
1. Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills
This hotel has the advantage of being relatively new which means it comes with all the latest amenities. Plus, there is a real hip atmosphere that makes Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills one of the trendiest business hotels in all of Tokyo. There are audio-visual meeting rooms that make working at the hotel perfect while the open-air rooftop space and large event rooms provide a wide-open feeling when staying and working in the hotel itself.
2. Grand Hyatt Tokyo
One of the most prominent and largest of all business-oriented hotels in Tokyo, this is the one that usually attracts the most attention. If offers everything a business hotel needs from printing services, laptop rental, 17 meeting rooms, large ballrooms across three separate floors and even a lobby shop that sells over 150 varieties of cigars to celebrate a completed business deal. With seven on-site restaurants, my girlfriend and I really love taking visitors to the Grand Hyatt when staying in Tokyo.
3. Keio Plaza Hotel
Arguably the biggest advantage of this hotel is its location near the train station. However, this high-rise has plenty to offer thanks to its over 1,400 rooms. The business traveler can find plenty to enjoy here from large desks and leather chairs to espresso machines and more. Keio Plaza is also a great meeting place thanks to the many rooms and event facilities designed for conducting meetings.
4. The Prince Park Tower Tokyo
Located near the famous Tokyo Tower, this high-rise is one of the best luxury hotels in the city. From offering free Wi-Fi to plenty of space for conventions, including a ballroom that seats more than 3,000 people, the Prince Park Tower is a business traveler’s dream. You can take advantage of the 24/7 business center that offers copy machines, faxes, printers and even a courier service. It’s located near the Hamamatsucho Train Station and the guest rooms are quite large and comfortable.
5. The Strings
Located in Shinagawa, the Strings Hotel offers 206 great rooms that all come equipped with flat-screen TVs, large windows to see the city and nice bathrooms. What makes this hotel one of the favorites for business travelers, my girlfriend and I work with are the excellent restaurants and a great bar for relaxing after a meeting. The sauna, business and fitness centers are open 24/7 which is also perfect for many business travelers.
Of course, our list of the top business hotels in Tokyo cannot be considered complete since we have not visited them all. But what my girlfriend and I can say is that these rank as our top five and make the perfect place for the busy business traveler to stay.
