Flight + hotel
Reservations
  • You will be notified when all portions of your reservation are confirmed. When your reservation is confirmed, full payment is due.Reservations are subject to cancellation if payment is not received within 24 hours of confirmation notification.A copy of the passport for each person should be provided to Majestic Vacations with the final payment. All documents and tickets will be issued using the full legal name on each passport.
  • Cancellation: All cancellations must be received in writing; either by fax or mail (e-mail and verbal cancellations are not acceptable).The following fees will be assessed per person accordingly when you cancel your reservation:
    1. Prior to ticketing a $150.00 penalty will be assessed.
    2. After ticketing but at least 14 days prior to departure, a $150.00 penalty will be assessed plus the cost of the first night hotel plus the airlines cancellation penalty (for some promotional packages, tickets are non-refundable after issued. Please check directly with United Vacations agents).
    3. After ticketing but within 14 days from departure, or after departure/no show, tickets are non-refundable. Also, a $350 penalty will be assessed plus any penalty from hotels.
    4. When travelers cannot complete their journey for any reason, the unused hotel nights are not refundable, exchangeable or transferable.
    5. In addition to the above stated cancellation charges, all penalties and service charges related to cancellation of optional tours, cruises or other services may be applicable, please check directly with Majestic Vacations for details.
    6. Failure to check-in to your first night of hotel could result in cancellation of all downward reserations.Please notify us if you are experiencing flight delays so we can attempt to adjust your hotel reservations (please note some penalties may be charged for these changes).We are not responsible for irregular airline flight operations.
Package Price Includes
  • Air Transportation: A roundtrip international air ticket is included with the package price for passengers departing from the U.S.A. as per their confirmation and payment.
  • Hotel Accommodations:Based on 2 adults sharing one room, double occupancy (please specify single or double beds in your reservation). A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single supplement rate.
  • Optional Travel Protection Insurance is offered at an additional expense when the reservation is made or payment is received less than 45 days prior to departure.
  • Meals: Most meals are not included unless specified by the hotel.
  • Transfers are not included in the price of the package.Optional transfers can be arranged, please contact us for prices and reservations.
Package Price Does Not Include
  • Any personal charges such as visa fees, passport fees, porterage, excess baggage charges, phone bills, postage, laundry, drinks, insurance premiums, or charges arising from deviations.
  • Meals and transportation not mentioned in this brochure.
  • Tips for your tour guide, driver or bellmen.
  • Air fares from your hometown to the gateway city, airport taxes, air ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, or any other charges levied by local, state, or federal government agency.
  • Fees for delivery of package documentation to international destinations.
General Conditions
  • All fares are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are based on tariffs and rates of currency exchange [in] effect [as] of January 2006.These rates are subject to change as deemed necessary by Majestic Vacations.
  • Optional Tour Programs will be narrated only in the language specified for that departure.Please make sure that speakers of English only or Spanish only are booked on the appropriate tours.
  • Passport / Visas: Passports must be valid for at least 6 months validity AFTER the return date of your trip.Majestic Vacations is not responsible when you are denied entrance for any reason at a foreign country, even if you have a valid passport and visa.A multi-entry visa to China costs $180 if arranged by Majestic Vacations for U.S. Citizens. Please inquire directly at Majestic Vacations about visa requirements to other countries.
  • Baggage:Baggage is the sole responsibility of the traveler. Check-in luggage allowance for the transoceanic flights is generally 2 pieces that weigh no more than 50lbs.Most airlines limit carry-on baggage to 1 piece per person that must be small enough to fit under the seat.Please check directly with your airline for their latest baggage requirements and related excess charges.Baggage allowances on domestic China flights are limited to 44 lbs.
  • Charges for Children:For children 11 or under, if they share a room with 2 adults and do not request an extra bed, they will be charged the listed child rate. If an extra bed is required in the room, they must pay 90% of the adult rate. Children 12 and over will be charged the full adult price.
  • Change Fee: One change is allowed free of charge after your reservation is confirmed if the change ismade more than 45 days prior to departure.A $75 fee will be charged for any subsequent changes.Once documents or air tickets have been issued, no changes are permitted.
  • The airlines, airports, bus company, hotels, cruise lines, or local travel agency have their own regulations and insurance policies protecting it's clients regarding to safety and other issues related to the trip. Customers should contact related operator directly since Majestic Vacations is not responsible for what the insurance of the third-party operator is providing.
  • By making a reservation and sending payment to Majestic Vacations, the customer agrees to and consents to all terms and conditions presented in this brochure.

Responsibility:

Majestic Vacations, as a tour operator, acts only as agent. All travel arrangements included in this trip are made on the participants behalf upon the express condition that, neither Majestic Vacations, nor its agents, shall be liable or responsible in the absence of its (or their) negligence for any direct, indirect,consequential, irregularity of any kind which may be accessioned by reason of any act or omission of any person or entity, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third-party such as airline, cruise vessel, boat, train, private car, bus, motor coach, or ofany other mode of conveyance, of hotels, ofsightseeing, and local ground handler, etc., which is to supplyor does supply any goods or services for this trip.Participant understands that Majestic Vacations neither owns noroperates such third-party suppliers and accordingly agrees to seek remedies directly and only with those suppliers and not hold Majestic Vacations responsible for their acts, omissions, or commission.Without limiting the foregoing, Majestic Vacations and its agents are furthermorenot responsible forany losses or expenses incurred due to any of the following:delay or changes of schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, acts of government's civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations! , epidem ics, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond the control of Majestic Vacations. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and bepaid for by the participant.

Majestic Vacations accepts no responsibility for value, reliability, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased on a tour or for any mailing, freight or shipping arrangements.

Majestic Vacations reserves the right to decline, to accept, or to retain any person as a tour participant should that person's health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general condition impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare, or enjoyment of other tour participants.

Majestic Vacations reserves the right to substitute hotels, and alter the itinerary, withdraw any tour and make any desirable alteration for the convenience of the operation of the tours. Majestic Vacations reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. Liability for such cancellations limited to full refund of the money received by Majestic Vacations and this will constitute full settlement with the tour member. All tour fares shown, except in China, are based on the present value of the foreign currencies in relation to the U.S. Dollar on January 2, 2006 and current tariffs on the same date. All tour fares therefore are subject to change. In China, costs are quoted by the Chinese handling travel agency. Increases in cost of any service within China, tour fares and hotels are subject to adjustment. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. In such case, a full refund of all payments will constitute a full settlement with the participant. The Chinese handling travel agency has sole and exclusive control over the operation of all tours in China. The Chinese handling travel agency reserves the right to make alterations or adjustments in the itinerary as to destinations, transportation, accommodations and all other services. Neither Majestic Vacations nor any subsidiary or affiliate of Majestic Vacations shall be responsible for any such alterations made by the Chinese handling travel! agency.

Baggage is carried at the owner risk and baggage insurance is recommended. Majestic Vacations is not responsible for typographical or printing errors or omissions in the brochure. Majestic Vacations accepts no responsibility for cost, which may occur as results of a participant failing to secure adequate insurance coverage, which coverage is highly recommended. Generally, your health insurance does not cover expense outside the USA. Majestic Vacations is not responsible for participant's visa or passport requirements, nor will a refund of unused services be made, nor reimbursement of any additional expenditure if the participant is denied entry to a country for this or any other reason.

General conditions, to which you have agreed when you had decided to utilize the services of Majestic Vacations, may not be amended in any way, except in writing, by an authorized officer of Majestic Vacations. By utilizing the services of Majestic Vacations, you agree that the exclusive venue for claims shall be the County of Dallas, State of Texas and such claims shall be determined according to the laws and jurisdiction of the State of Texas.

The issuance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions and to these terms and conditions.

Omissions

The company is not responsible for omissionsor errors of printing or presentation in brochures, on the internet, or through any other media where such information maybe presented.The company reserves the right to make corrections as required.

Travel Protection Insurance  
 

United Vacations highly recommends purchasing additional travel insurance that allows you extra freedom and flexibility to make changes to your plans without incurring costly revision and cancellation fees. Travelers receive reassurances that they will be protected from unexpected circumstances prior to departure or during travel for a reasonable price. Please inquire with our sales agent for the cost of the policy which best suits your individual needs.

Depending on the optional plan you purchase, you will have protection for trip cancellation, trip interruption, trip delay, emergency evacuation, accident medical protection, sickness and medical expenses, baggage delay, travel accident protection and access to 24-hour emergency assistance. Please inquire for a complete list of benefits and coverage.

Payment Information (Deposits and Final payments)
  • Escorted Tours: Travelers must pay a $250 non - refundable deposit per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
  • Independent Travel: Travelers must pay a $250 non - refundable deposit per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
  • Air Only: Full payment of fare is required at time of reservation.
  • Certain special or customized itineraries may require an additional deposit in order to confirm reservation.
General
  • Escorted Tours: Deposit plus non - refundable insurance premium is required at time of making your reservation.
  • Independent Travel: Deposit plus non - refundable insurance premium is required at time of making your reservation.
  • For late bookings within 30 days of departure, full payment is due immediately. An additional fee of $50 per person will be charged for rush handling.
  • All payments can be made by check or credit card.
  • Credit cards will be taken for deposit and insurance payment without signature but a signed Credit Card Authorization Form is required within 7 days of such payment, which will acknowledge that the customer has read, understands and agrees to the Terms & Conditions. To receive this form, call your travel professional.

REVISIONS/CHANGES: A handling fee of $50 per person plus any fees charged by the supplier will be charged for any alterations or revisions to a reservation. Spelling corrections to clients' names after tickets have been issued are subject to airline revision fees.
A change of trip date will be treated as a cancellation and new booking and regular cancellation fees will apply.

Responsibility:
These trips are arranged by United Vacations Inc, ("Operator"). It has made the travel arrangements as agent for the transportation carriers and other suppliers of services connected with the tour ("suppliers"), all of which are independent contractors. The Operator in no way owns or operates the vehicles or facilities to be used during the trip, and does not guarantee or assume responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of suppliers, their employees, agents, etc. All bookings are accepted subject to the conditions imposed by suppliers and Operator, including airline, cruise line, rail, coach, hotel, restaurants, insurance and other companies, firms or persons concerned with the trip, and Operator will make no refund in the event of their delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or for elements of the package not used by customer. If there is a difference between Operator's Conditions and those published by the supplier, the conditions of supplier shall apply. Price quoted is per person double occupancy, and does not include US or Foreign Government fees and taxes, airline or airport surcharges and September 11th Security Fee. Operator reserves the right to cancel a trip, change the itinerary or adjust rates whenever in its sole judgment conditions warrant, or if Operator deems it necessary for your comfort, convenience or safety. The Operator reserves the right to adjust prices due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. Please note that in some cases, your airline tickets will be electronically issued in lieu of paper tickets. Car Rental and Fly/Drive programs are subject to the rental terms in the country where you start your tour. In all cases, you will need to present a current drivers license. Other conditions such as age requirements, insurance, surcharges, fuel, extra drivers etc. will be explained to you at the point of rental. You will receive a flight confirmation with your documents, which you must present at the time of check-in at the airport counter with proper and valid ID such as your passport. Trips outside the USA require a valid passport or other acceptable forms of citizenship proof. You are responsible for, and release Operator from passport, visa, vaccination, requirements and safety conditions in travel destinations.

The Operator reserves the right to decline to accept any person as a member of the tour, or to require any participant to withdraw from the trip at any time who presents a significant risk to the health or safety of himself or others which can not be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by Operator's reasonable accommodation. The Operator reserves the right to correct an error in the brochure presentation or advertised price prior to your departure. Prices in this brochure are accurate at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice due to changes in market factors including but not limited to foreign currency and supplier cost fluctuations.
Prices set forth in future brochures shall supersede the prices in this brochure. Airfare quotes and prices for tours that include air in this brochure are subject to airline capacity limitations and higher airfares may apply depending on seat availability at time of reservation. A contract is made when your reservation and payment are accepted by Operator at its office, and any dispute shall be governed by Texas law and subject to the jurisdiction of Dallas County, Texas. In calculating the cost of your trip, Operator has relied on your consent to these terms and in the absence of this release, the trip cost would have been higher. Operator reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality. Operator will not be responsible to any person for expense, loss of time, money or other circumstance resulting from a change in itinerary or change of tour arrangements. Operator also reserves the right to cancel a tour prior to departure and in such cases, all payments made to date will be refunded and shall constitute full settlement. If you purchase an airline ticket separately, ensure that your travel agent explains the conditions under which the ticket is issued, as the Operator assumes no responsibility for such airline ticket cancellation fees. Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day of the year. The Operator reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the best possible extent and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
